the sun has finally paused here, there is a strange glow in the sky that i vaguely remember as being the sun, but still I have sheets of water across the yard like this

Lovely shot. Wasn't it great to see some sun here. we had flooded rains and an almost overflowing stormwater canal up here in the suburbs. Hope you didn't have major damage.
