My Baby Girl

It's been a wonderful (and tiring) visit with my girl. She gets on the plane tomorrow to head back to her "grown up" home. :(
Oh, what a wonderful photo of your sweet baby, Sheri! I wish she could stay with you a few more days...so bittersweet when they grow up into their own big girl lives. Will Ashley be home for Christmas?

Aww, so soon :( I'll bet the time flew. Enjoy the time left and lots of phone-calls, right? There's always video Skype.

@peggysirk Thank you Peggy. I wish she could have stayed longer too. This business of working full-time and going to school eight hours away from mom just isn't fair!! We did make the decision to buy her a plane ticket to come home for Christmas. She will only be here for two days, but at least she will be with the whole family. She was already in tears last night just thinking about leaving. It breaks my heart.

@roejan @lynnmwatson Thank you ladies. She looked so sweet lying there sleeping, I just couldn't resist. I would kill for her eyelashes!

@clarissajohal Yes, she has to leave already. I feel like she just got here, probably because she just did!! She works full time as a bank teller and she's going to school, so she had to get back home. She's low man on the totem pole for time off from work. We decided to fly her home for Christmas, even though she'll only get to be here for two days. I need my girl here. :( We need to invent some kind of magic pill to keep our little girls from growing up and leaving us!

@isisweiss Lol!! I did show her the picture, but I figured that the worse case scenario was that she wouldn't even see it because she doesn't go on 365. It gives me a little more freedom!!

@pyrrhula Your comment made me smile. I often said that my children were adorable when they were sleeping too! One year Ashley dressed up like an angel for Halloween, and she was only three years old. She called my mom on the telephone and said "Grandma, I am pretending to be an angel today". I thought, oh how true that is!!
