No Mr. Owl, that is not the mouse you are looking for!
This is my office desk at work, I have a very nice PC but also have a G5 as backup.
On the left is a solar Maiko that I brought back from Japan last year (she is sitting on a mini loudspeaker which is directly behind a glass 'Ignore' paperweight).
Next to this is a photo of my 13 yr old daughter Sophie in her school uniform.
The image on the monitor is a photoshop CS4 screen of an interpretation of Weymouth Harbour for use on a new website that the people in our ICT dept. are working on, but it's not quite there yet.
The white paper below the screen has the original sketch that I designed the header on (in front of that is a Scallop shell from Chesil Beach).
The header is made up from individual shots from both sides of Weymouth Harbour which have been cut and pasted together - the idea was to remove any perspective from the buildings.
The idea for the picture was to combine the (Animal) Alphabet which we are now on 'O' with the new weekly challenge theme of '9 to 5' and include a pun on the 'Mouse'. I really wanted to do an Octopus in my office, but really didn't have the time today, you know, something on the lines of wanting sometimes to have eight arms to manage to do everything with...
Awesome, I'm left thinking it might be nice to have an owl in your office. You know he sorta gives that overseer boss vibe though so maybe not so nice after all.
