Hello Up There! by pflaume

Hello Up There!

A tall building is being constructed in the center of my town. As I was driving by today, I noticed the construction crane in full swing, and decided to stop for a few photos. These construction guys gave me big waves as I was snapping away. Apparently, they were watching me watch them. Now, I'm pleased to add the first photo that purposely includes people to my 365 album.

A big thank you for all your comments and favs on yesterday's photo. I was thrilled to see it pop up on the PP!
Excellent shot! I love the diagonals and the fact that there is human interest and then your story, it really makes it for me.

I don't know why, but I've started to fall in love with cranes since starting this project. They just seem to add an extra dimension to a cityscape or landscape. Maybe it's because there isn't much in the skyline where I live, not like London or somewhere like that. Not that I've been able to fit them into the January or February challenges, mind you.

Lines, lines, lines, lines and more... lines!!!!!!!
Once I started shooting that's all I see around me, lines and patterns. lol
But I have to admit that this really works in photography and photo evidence that, since the lines formed by the crane and the building leads the eye from the photo perfectly.

@olivetreeann Thank you for your comment, Ann. It inspired me to change my title. Much snappier verbiage than what I came up with. Hope you don't mind the plagiarizing... So appreciate your comments and support.
