The weeping cherry trees are in bloom. The blossoms are such a welcome, although fleeting, spring sight. This graceful branch dangled in front of wooden fence with slats wide enough to allow the morning light to subtly shine though creating an interesting background blur. I think I like the bokeh as much as the branch itself, but together they really worked for me.
Very pretty - I love the weeping fruit and weeping ornamentals. I do like the vertical lines of the fence drawing the eye down to the blossoms. Lovely!
Such a beautiful image. Trees with a weeping habit are so beautifu! You have captured this beautifully Lisa. Love the brightness on those blossoms and the darkened background, very effective.
@rvwalker Thank you, Ross! How are you doing? Are you having any withdrawal symptoms from the end of your project? I know we are missing you here... I sure am!
@pflaume Doing OK, Lisa. We are working on Linda's pre-op appointments, but I might get out for a photo tomorrow. The diptych theme looks like fun. I still check in on my 365 favorites, but try to keep it to no more than an hour a day.
