My son and I enjoyed a great hike to a rock garden today. Lukas had a ball scaling giant boulders while I generally worried for his safety - and snapped photos, of course! This was taken at the start of the trail. He stepped perfectly into the frame of the jumbled barbed wire.
Lisa this is quite fantabulous, not many shots make me want to get into digital but this does. Love your processing, do you shoot in RAW? and what program do you process with. The effect is gorgeous . Fav
@ingrid2101 Thank you so much for your comment & fav, Ingrid. Means a lot to me! I am very much a beginner when it comes to processing. I have not taken the step to RAW yet and I edit my photos in Picasa. I know, very unimpressive, right? In Picasa, I have been playing with the cross processing feature which I used on this photo. There is a slider to control the intensity of the process and I have found the halfway to "normal" to be most pleasing to my eye. Still so much to learn and explore! My list is very long! I so appreciate your feedback and support!
Ha Lisa...I'm a little late :-))) just see it now for the first time (huh?)
but I agree with everything written above :-)
Really, really love this picture. Also a very good example again for your 'great eye for composition' FAV
@pflaume Lisa, I'm sure this must be on the PP by now, I haven't looked yet. I just wanted to comment....first I love that your son is so excited, that is too cute ! Second, I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't tried raw yet...not sure what's holding me back...lol Congrats again on this wonderful photo x
