After a freezing night, this tulip was tightly closed and forward fallen. It was lovely to watch the bed of tulips respond to the sunshine and warming temperatures. They arose and opened themselves to welcome the day - very much like people do.
Such a gorgeous capture, Lisa. I took a bunch of fence shots when I was in California and kept asking myself, "How would Lisa shoot this?" I was not happy with any of them, but if I get brave enough I may post one and get some pointers from you ; )
@yonnie What a generous compliment, Yvonne! I am so touched. I think fenced shots are difficult. I don't know that I have any special technique offer. My usual approach is to take The photo from every possible angle and camera setting. Most of the shots are garbage but if I can find one I like and I'm happy. You know, I would gladly help you anyway I can.
