Morning Light

Thank you all for your kind comments and favs to my "Meandering" photo from yesterday. I was delighted that it was so well received!

This is another photo from those rolling hills. Some of the slopes were blanketed with these happy, yellow wildflowers. In this shot, two flower covered slopes meet in a little valley - one side in light and one in shadow. I love the contrast of the two.

Arrowleaf balsamroot, I think. I get them mixed up with mule ears. You are at least a month ahead of us. Anyway, well seen and captured with the flowers emerging from the background darkness.
