This is the second photo I have taken of this canyon for my 365 Project. The first was in the deep of winter. What a different place it is now. I think I will make it a point to return for a shot in every season and assemble a collage of canyon images at the end of the year.
By the way, the buoys hanging in mid air in the January photo are the same that became orange "lanterns" in my flipped image "Dam Reflection" from yesterday. The canyon is looking up river from the dam.
What a beautifully serene image and a bit of a contrast to January! I think a collage of the seasons is a wonderful Idea and look forward to seeing it.
What a beautiful view. Excellent idea to do the four seasons. I did that with a shot here in my first year and meant to do it last year but didn't get around to picking a subject and then it was too late! This will look particularly beautiful in the Fall I imagine.
@sjouk Thank you so much for your comment and fav, Sjouk! I am delighted that you like this. It is in fact almost in my backyard. I drive 3 minutes to get here. I think I have taken it for granted in the past, but this project has helped me to really appreciate it's beauty.
