Another water lily from my neighborhood pond. I don't think I have ever seen water lilies growing in the wild so it was a thrill to come upon them. I had to do a wee bit of trespassing and bushwhack my way through some dense brush to get close enough for this shot, but it was worth it.
I'm loving these water lily shots. They are gorgeous -- a fav here. A neighbor down the beach as a lily pad field on what used to be called the frog pond, but now has gone dry -- just a mud bottom. I'm wondering if his will bloom like this without sitting in water and really am hoping they will. But your shots are incredible with the water as well.
