@elaine55 Hi Elaine, You are sweet to ask. Thank you! I like the work but am struggling with balancing everything else. The needs of children and home remain with fewer hours in the day. That is the biggest adjustment for me. I do get to work from home which is (mostly) a plus and can determine my own hours for the most part so hopefully, I will get into a rhythm where it all seems to work OK with minimal stress. Thanks again for asking!
@lucypics Thank you, Lucy. This was the real deal. This old drive in restaurant is known as "Home to the Hot Rods". It's a meeting place for owners of vintage cars. It's where I took yesterday's shot of the '52 Chevy. They play up the retro theme and with all the old cars parked there, it really feels like you stepped back in time!
Wonderful atmosphere here, so retro and those tones are just to die for! I feel like sayiing this is very delicious shot, it almost looks like good enough to eat and I don´t mean the burgers there.
This is like a film set. How cool to be able to photograph it. You have done a great job and managed to capture a real retro feel. I am very impressed that you are juggling a new job, children and a home and still managing to produce great shots and keep up with commenting - well done you!
@suesmith Thank you so much for that nice pat on the back, Sue! I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water at the moment. I am heartened to know you don't think my project has suffered yet though. I'm sure things will settle into a groove with time. Again, thanks for your kind words and support.
