I was driving when I saw this beautiful light cutting through the foggy trees. There was no place to safely pull over so all I could do was stop in the road and take a quick capture through my windshield. I wish I had more time to compose the shot - and take more! - but glad I got at least this one. Shout out to the driver behind me who was most patient with my photography antics. :)
What a lovely shot, Lisa. I have had so many missed opportunities when I haven't been able to pull over and have shot through the window too. This really is very atmospheric.
Wonderful shot Lisa. It's so frustrating when you see something so photogenic and can't pull over safely. I often see mist and fog in rolling valleys with sunshine above, on the motorway, with nowhere to stop! You're lucky you didn't get shunted by the car behind you!
agree with @shepherdmanswife very frustrating when you can't pul over. My driive to work is two very long roads without stopping options but with some very photogenic opportunities sometimes (especially sunsets) This is a great shot, love the atmosphere with that light coming through the trees, the b&w conversion really adds to the atmosphere and shot
