This shot was taken on a gray day with flat lighting and the results were pretty blah. I was about to pitch it, but then decided to experiment with different BW editing options in Silver FX. I liked this high contrast, high key BW and the way it gave the scene an almost illustrative quality.
SO glad you didn't trash it! i love how it turned out! i am fascinated by how so many photos i think are worthless of mine can be infused with new life by exactly what you are describing!
