parking meter

This is the parking situation all over the city these days. Our streets have shrunk considerably. That's the sidewalk on the bottom left and the street is somewhere over on the right!
wow! I would have guessed the parking was to the left, and the sidewalk was under the pile of snow on the right! Crazy snow you have there.....please, I am begging you, keep it where you are :-)

Oh, no fair!!! You have TONS of snow!!! It's very beautiful, but I suppose one would get tired of it after a while... This is such a great shot!!!

Great shot!

What a mess.

Wow

I have to agree with Rick on this....what a mess. I'm so over snow so I'm guessing you must be too having all that! Great shot though, it really gives a feel for much of it you have!

Oh my goodness!

@deesdiscoveries @jonna @kerristephens @digitalrn Yes, it does get tiresome after awhile. And the snow gets quite ugly - big dirty chunks of ice they keep plowing and pushing around. Right in the heart of downtown they've managed to remove it all. They've plowed and dumped it to a few locations where they blast it with heat and melt it (somehow). We had 43 inches in December. That's the 3rd highest amount of snow on record for the whole season! Enough already.

@wendyworks @bluemoon @stephd Ha, see comment above!

@pfmandeville Geez! Where do you live?!?!?
January 14th, 2011
@deesdiscoveries Minneapolis, MN
January 14th, 2011
@pfmandeville remind me to stay away from there in the winter! YIKES!
January 14th, 2011
@deesdiscoveries This year is really quite unusual. We usually don't get more than 4 or 5 inches at a time and only a few times the whole season. It's been nonstop this year and we've got a couple months to go yet.
January 14th, 2011
@pfmandeville Wow!!! Never heard of getting rid of snow in large amounts by melting it before... Thanks for sharing the down side of snow with me--maybe I'll stop envying you now... :)

I feel lucky after seeing this. We have had only one huge storm and it has mostly disappeared. Hang in there. Spring is only a month or two away.
January 14th, 2011
Gee we are worlds apart at the moment! Great to see some snow shots, but I can imagine it would be a bit of nuisance after a while :)
January 14th, 2011
That's a hudge amount of snow! Like it for a day or two, but then it gets dirty and messy all over the place and you do want it gone. In our country just an inch of snow makes big traffic trouble, so I'm glad we haven't had it this bad!
January 14th, 2011
Ick. That's big. What a crazy winter!
January 14th, 2011
That's a lot of snow!
January 14th, 2011

Looks like home. We are also buried in snow. But, I'm afraid to admit....I like it. Great shot.
