This has probably been done before on 365, but pegs do make a nice subject to photograph.
I took a few pictures, some against the background of green bushes and some against the background of the wall.
I actually liked the starkness of the wall as its colour blends nicely with the pegs.
I did think of cropping the picture really close and showing the springs and therefore making the image slightly abstact (as even with a big crop the bits seem sharp). However in the end I went for the original picture. I boosted the saturation a tad in photoshop elements, so about 2 clicks of post processing editing
I like the colors too! I love how all of the colors are fire colors and then the wire adds contrast by being purple. And the brick wall adds interest too witht he white lines.
@lauren211 thanks for your nice comments Lauren, I'm suprised how sharp the image turned out, because it was very windy in the UK today and the pegs flapped around quite a bit.
Now these are some wild pegs, or as we call them in the US "clothespins" You asked about how I created my Year of the Rabbit collage. It is done easily with the paid subscription to picnik. (You can also use picnik for free, but i find the additional effects available with the yearly subscription are worth the price.)
