When you're struggling with your 365 - stick another Ruby picture up !

I said I was struggling a bit with my 365, so an easy solution to the problem was to do another Ruby picture (well she is the star of my 365 and it is a while since I posted a picture of her)

I suppose what we love about our dogs is the expressions and gesture's they make and the things they do that we cannot do !!! I mean don't you wish you could lick your nose !!

This is shot on a long lens in our back garden and as it was quite dull it was at ISO 800. I had the camera on aperture priority at F5.6 so I could get some bokeh

So here it is Ruby looking quite mischievous and very alert. An 'easy' image to fill when struggling with my 365

I think this is the clearest shot of Ruby we have seen ! She has more white down her front than I thought & seems to have grown & filled out ! Love the ears !! I took a photo on the prom of three whippets having a walk , I might put it on tomorrow if I've nothing better !

Love it. (and the secret to my struggles...sometimes I just give myself a couple of hours on Sunday morning...drive somewhere and take shots of anything interesting on the way...then I bore you guys all week by loading those shots up day after day.) This helps me to get over a hump. Ruby is such a great subject though that you have a solution built in.

Phil, this is a WONDERFUL shot of Ruby! I think you're right - our pets are great subjects when we're struggling. I would like to practice with the dog in full run to see what I can do. Now, about the tongue licking our own nose bit. Hmmm. ;p
