Although having said that all the previous rose pictures I have posted have been close up macro studies of the swirly inside bit of the rose.
This is a study of several buds that climb the trellis that hides our shed !
Vibrant reds and a faded trellis almost 3D,
Not a lot else I can say about this shot really apart from I apologise for more flower pics. In mitigation it is the height of our summer ! I mean I'm looking out of my window to some beautiful skies....grey, colourless, no clouds, no sun , just threatening rain !!
It's lovely - and it's only your third flower of the month - looking forward to plenty more yet - we'll be looking back on these in November!! Oh and thanks for Carling Black Label - it was annoying me!!
They really do pop out of the screen. Be thankful for your flowers, we don't have many at this time of year and with the poor rainfall we've had I don't have high hopes for Spring either.
No shed yet then !!! Lovely roses climbing through your trellis though & a lovely red ! I can see the 3D effect clearly, it must be as you say because the trellis is a pale colour, clever shot !!
@happypat thank you Pat, i did see the trellis as a frame for the roses. It would have been better if all the roses were in flower together , but nature doesn't work like that !
@judithg cheers judith, it is difficult to keep the 365 fresh and different over the weeks and months. You are right though we will look back when we are in the winter months.
BTW : Carling Black label. I remembered that the tune to the advert was from mission impossible, so I just put 'squirrel advert mission impossible' into google and the youtube advert turned up !
cool shot - like the focus - neat composiiton with that trellis! weather is rubbish huh? the clouds have all come in again here - rain is not far away!
Nowt wrong with flower pics Phil! Winter is just round the corner and we will see all too few of them when it hits! I like the trellis framing in this one, lovely blooms too :-)
