Taken in my lunch break as I waited outside 'Tesco Express' for my colleague Behnam to buy some lunch !
Shot from the hip blind....hence the downhill walk !
What can I tell you about the shot...well the ladies in the shot look like mother and daughter . the two people outside the laundrette are the staff who run the place. The staff always seem to be having a ciggie whenever I pass by (perhaps my lunch break coincides with their brake), so I wouldn't want a 'service wash' from them.
I like the reflections in the shop window ! I cannot spot myself !
It's a bit similar to my Post Office Shot from the weekend
Converted to black and white with a few twiddles and turns in Photoshop Elements...that's about it for this image.
I'm two days behind posting, but should be posting the inside of my shed in the Tues and Weds postings !!!
I think the shorts look a bit tight !! Great black & white street scene & always good to see what other people are up to !! The slight angle gives it a paparazzi effect !! I can't help but feel I must delay my holiday because the inside of the shed will be on but I am away from Tuesday onwards for a week !!!!
Great hip shot, Phil! I love your commentary, as I usually do. But, gasp, we'll get to see the INSIDE of the shed?! (Keep up the great work - I always look forward to seeing your posts.)
Kitchen-Bedrooms=Laundry... Ha, another fun streeet shot. Your stories always add to the posted photos. I agree with Peter Zipp, it does look like the so called daughter is pulling a car...wonderful...
Thanks everyone for the continued support, glad the 'street scene' meets your approval
Good spot by @sleepdozer57 re dragging the car and @seattle by the link between the shops :)
