Parasol by the beach

Our beach parasol / sun umbrella plonked on the beach.

This is Menorca in Spain and this is where we sat when we visited the beach.

The beach never got really busy, although this is early morning (9.30 am ish), but if I'd shot this at 14:00 hours the scene would not look a lot different other than a few more parasols in the distance. 17:00 would be a bit busier as the locals tend to come down to the beach after work.

Not a lot else to say about the image other than I've tried to be a bit arty !!! If I'd been a bit more careful with the composition, I'd have moved the white you can see behind the shadow (a towel).

The lone pink flip flop is the wife's, which I think looks quite nice in the frame.

Now this is the type of beach I like to frequent. Quiet and relaxing. Great shot and looks like a great place to be.
