clouds, sky, sea, rocks, sand !!! by phil_howcroft

clouds, sky, sea, rocks, sand !!!

I told you my 365 holiday to Menorca, Spain was just going to be a weeks worth of sun, sea, sky and sand pictures....:)...well I've managed to throw in a few rocks here too.

A few metres away from yesterdays parasol picture there are some nice photogenic rocks which made for a nice composition against the sea, surf, beach and sky .

I bobbed down low again to try and get a bit of reflected sky in the wet sands. The light was quite nice for this shot.

A few minutes later I was in the sea bobbing down low to try and get the surf splashing against the rocks...quite dangerous...not for me but for my little panny TZ7 camera ......which got a bit wet from the splashing. I think it needs some TLC now .....a bit of a clean of the lens and a decent wipe don for sand grains !!

I did do a B/W conversion, but the colour image looks better as the saturated sky looks quite nice.

Anway, here you go an image that sums up my weeks worth of images...... sky, sea, rocks and sand

Beautiful

beautiful shot Phil. Youre very brave taking your camera into the sea, I always worry when I use mine on the beach, its hard not to be precious about these things!
