Wife's Sunflower by phil_howcroft

Wife's Sunflower

Well I've shown you my 'his' sunflower , this is the 'hers' sunflower !

I don't understand why when we planted two seeds on the same day, from the same packet, on the same window sill, grew them in identical pots on the patio, feed and water them on the same days ....then why should one flower be so far ahead of the other

My sunflower can be seen in the links below

Great angle here , you can almost hear it reaching for the sky !! Is it taller than yours perhaps that's why it hasn't flowered yet !! it looks good against the sky !!

Great shot & hormones I'd guess. Women catch much bigger fish and it is supposed to be male hormones that go into the water via the fingers that frighten them off only one molecule can scare them away for miles! There was a book about Miss Georgina Balantyne who held the salmon record (since taken by another woman - although very few women indulge in fly fishing and hold a lot of the records) that went into the theory in great depth but my search on the internet has come to naught.
