Ruby enjoying some late evening sun in our garden and caught 'mid scratch' by my panny tz7.
The auto focus has focussed on her eyes (that's good), but because I had the camera on macro settings and pointed it almost under her nose, the depth of field is very narrow resulting in her nose not being quite as sharp as i would have liked.
The sun has blown out a bit of the background but I don't think that matters too much.
Anyway I like the shot and Jane thinks it's hilarious and cute :)
Oh I think I ought to warn you of a 'whippet alert' as I intend to finish the weeks posting with a mini series of 'Ruby whippet' pictures !
Well that is a funny picture but I'm not sure Ruby would like you putting her intimate moments on line for all to see !! seriously it is a very good close up & you have captured her face so clearly, great macro shot !!i
