Freshly Picked Today

I was worried our home grown tumbling cherry tomatoes would not ripen due to our rather poor summer.

Anyway, the warm sunny week has helped produce a bumper crop. This is one of many bowls of tomato's we've picked over the last couple of days .

I don't know what we will do with them all though !!!! I normally put four in my lunch box for work ....well I can see a lot of 'fours' here.

Oh they look delicious - I've just been eating some cherry tomatoes this evening, but they weren't as fresh as these. Love the perspective and crop you've chosen, and the colours against the worksurface - fab shot :o)

if this is only one of a few bowls, methinks you'll need more than 4 in your lunch box for a bit to get throught them all! I remember as a kids my stepdad forcing tomatoe son us in order they didn't go off...I never understood why he didn't just plant less!! great shot Phil, they do look rather yummy!

I love fresh garden tomatoes. Jealous you have so many to feast on. Great crop, great shot. (Crop as in garden crop, not crop as in photo...) Ha.
