Autumn Lighting in Bestwood

We went on an early morning walk to Bestwood country park this morning.

The sun shone and it made quite nice shafts of light as it struggled through damp morning dew and moisture.

I think the image might have been better if Jane and Ruby were in the sunbeam / shaft of light, but it didn't happen as I was holding Ruby's lead as i took this image and Jane didn't want to be in the 'spotlight' !!

This is almost SOOC (just an auto levels tweak in photoshop elements, which actually made little change to the image).

That shaft of sunlight is perfect, all you needed was a couple of little gnomes or fairies dancing about & it would have been even more magical !! Looks a beautiful park to walk in !!

@judithg ha ha judith good comment re ruby blocking the path view......they are only skinny little dogs though ...i'm sure she wouldn't block that much out :) ....the wife on the other hand......errr no lets not go there !!!!
