Had a new passport picture took today, to renew my passport

A nice young lady took it in Jessops camera shop.

This is a picture of the pamphlet that contained 6 mini Phil's

It was colour, but I've made it B/W for the purpose of this image.

I wish you could smile on your passport picture.

I don't really know why I've posted this as we never look that good on our passport pics, but I suppose four and a bit Phil's is almost an interesting image to share on here

I will 'fill in' the passport renewal application form next week

I agree, you should be able to smile on your passport photos. My 'standby face' can be mistaken for my 'don't mess with me face'....smiling is much better!

Passport pics are like criminal mug shots! They never flatter the passport holder... Come to think of it - Driver's license pics are the same way! I think we should demand better pics for these documents! Something that at least shows our best side! =)

Cool pic - I like the repetition - doesn't look like your profile pic though! Don't you have to be fully face on? I hate those forms - when you know you can't make mistakes you immediately go wrong!

PS I took all ours and had Photobox print them - first time round I did the wide angle trick & we all looked distorted - I've learned to back off a bit now!

@judithg Judith I questioned that with the lady in the shop , but she said it was OK....and if it was wrong they would redo it.....i think they need to be able to measure the distance between eyes mouth etc............ahh well we see what they say !!

ah passport photos - I seem to be permanently in those photo booths at the moment what with duplicate passports and VISA's and stuff! I always struggle with the wearing glasses bit! Great shot tho - love the repetition

The repetition is super cool. I seem to spend far too much time having these done...mostly for visas...and they are always awful.

Must have missed this shot & you are very brave showing us a passport picture, I always hate mine but necessary if you want to go away !! This looks a promising sign !
