Sunday morning was a complete contrast to the previous 6 days of the week that had gone before it. We've had rain rain and more rain....but today was a beautiful sunny morning.
It was too good an opportunity to waste, so we went on a walk to Bestwood Country Park along the Collier's Footpath (a footpath that was used by the miners of Arnold and Redhill who used to walk to Bestwood Colliery 'back in the day')
A great morning for a Whippet walk and an opportunity to take a few nice pics too.
I did a monochrome conversion on this because it had great textures and tones;
...... almost exactly a year ago. Last years shot was was taken about a 100 metres further down the path from here and that too was converted to monochrome too !
a completely different monochrome to last years and no grainy sky!! Same here no rain but sadly no sun either!! What a lovely shot Phil love all the textures.......bet Ruby loved it too!!.a fav
Very lovely and you still have stubble. All ploughed in here - and very very very soggy underfoot. Very disgruntled dog as only one small hoop session allowed!
I dropped by to see if you'd posted so I could wish you Happy Christmas but I'm double posting here instead. So Happy Christmas & I'm really glad you stayed for a second year - it wouldn't be the same without you Phil!
@judithg thanks judith for the kind words :) ..yes thw 2nd year has been good, albeit it's not a photo every day.....in fact i'm about to post the 24th Dec pic in a few mins...but it's been so wet in Nottingham today it's a yesterday pic :)
