We went to the NEC in Birmingham yesterday to visit the BBC Food and Summer Garden show.
We've been to a few of them over the years (our last visit was 2 years ago).
I think the recession is taking it's effect as the show seemed to be smaller than in previous years. Fewer 'show gardens', fewer exhibitors and definitely fewer 'promotional freebies' from the exhibitors.
We did have an enjoyable day, but will probably 'strike it off' our 'must do list' for a few years !
