Dune Grasses by phil_howcroft

Dune Grasses

I'm off work this week (and next).

On Wednesday we went to the east coast for the day.............Anderby Creek....we've never been there before and were pleasantly surprised.

Anderby Creek is a hamlet in Lincolnshire, England; part of the parish of Anderby. It is on the North Sea coast, 4 kilometres north of Chapel St Leonards.

Anderby Creek is protected by a preservation order that keeps amusement arcades and night-clubs away, leaving a quiet, safe and tranquil environment.

It's a two hour drive from Nottingham, but the day was sunny and warm. We had a picnic in the dunes, walked along the beach and enjoyed a great day.

Here are some dune grasses, converted to monochrome to create a nice arty image.
I like the textures so nicely displayed in this simple photo!
