Tap and Drop by phil_howcroft

Tap and Drop

I tried to do a moon shot tonight (a full moon), but although the shot turned out OK the moon was too small in the frame and not enough interest to post on here.

So I took my camera and tripod into the kitchen and tried to get a moving water drop

Well, the light was artificial and the macro switch setting on my sigma 70-300mm is OK, but it is not a dedicated macro, so it has it's limitations

So here you are ...Tap and Drop ...oh and black and white too !
Almost looks like a barrel of a gun with a bullet shooting out...now that would be too scary. I will take the moving water drop out of the faucet!

Tap & drop is a great title Phil....I couldntbtell it was tap & drop but it's a pleasing black & white shot all the same!

It does sound a little like the name of a pub, but it's a terrific shot nonetheless

Good title and you have a shiny tap! I thought at very first view it could be a leg of a chair with a little swivel wheel on the end but now I can see what it is and appreciate the shot!

Cool. I have never tried it myself. Bet it is very difficult to get it right.

Great contrast of the hard unmoving metal of the tap and soft blury water drop
