Osteospermum Purples

These pretty bedding plants are blooming in our garden. They were a bargain price from our local Lidl a few weeks ago

The water droplets are from a watering can. Much needed for these little Osteospermum's as the temperatures topped 30C

Edited in GIMP, auto levels, a tad sharpening and a crop

These flowers look a hardy type for hot or cold weather! I think I vaguely recognise them but then I've never got this close! Love the blue centre with the dark ring then the lilac petals!

Beautiful flower. They are quite common in Malta. I have one plant producing flowers like this and another producing flowers with white petals. there are many other variations, too.
