One Man and his Traction Engine by phil_howcroft

One Man and his Traction Engine

It was the Nottingham Riverside Festival this weekend.

A free event run by the city council. Four stages hosting an eclectic mix of music artists and genre, a fun fair and side stalls all set by the banks of the River Trent

This is a man sat on his Traction Engine

Edited in Raw Therapee, with quite a bit of tone mapping,

I resisted the temptation to convert to mono
He has a great face

Super capture Phil....Cathy one time went out with a lad who was into these things....he had & still does for that matter one of those old steam musical organs. They used to go to rally's & come back with black faces! Sorry keep missing yours, you post too late for me!!

He looks worried or sad or both, or maybe he's just concentrating and waiting to take his place in a parade? Intriguing capture.

There's a particular look that all these fellas have, and you've captured it well here.
