For none UK viewers, we have a saying in the UK....
"Never Look a Gift Horse In The Mouth"
It means is don't find fault with something that is given to you for free.
Anyway, my play on words of a well know saying
These are Preston North End fans queuing for entry to the Macron Stadium on Saturday to see their team play Bolton Wanderers.
If there is a sizeable away following the police have horses at the stadium and key approach points to keep supporters in order. No one argues with a 500 to 600 kg horse and they are held with the healthiest respect by most football fans.
The man in the picture seems to be having some banter with this beautiful grey horse. I am sure the horse gave him some back. as is says in the title "Never Look a Police Horse in The Mouth"

Nice - I am forever having to explain these type of sayings to the Kiwis/Maori over here! But then they have to explain the Maori whakatoki (proverbs) to me!!!
You certainly wouldn't want to mess with her! Amazing protection she's wearing! Beautiful horse. I see in the background a group of the bowler wearing group too. Interesting shot Phil.
Same here about horses at the football stadium. Normally they stay out of sight. That police woman (is she?) looks well prepared for the unexpectable. Beautiful candid in b&w.
Excellent shot. Clever title. Horses are huge powerful creatures and need to be treated with some respect. i think the copper looks more scarey tho - I think she'd ensure I avert my gaze!
