Furniture Sale at No. 35

A monochrome street shot on a Sunday morning in Sneinton, Nottingham.

I was photographing an empty market as a favour for one of my 100 strangers (who is a manager at Sneinton Market) and couldn't resist a streetie.

Sneinton is an inner city area a few minutes walk from the city centre.

Edited in darktable using an open source style filter of an Ilford XP2 film provided by a talented Portuguese photographer João Almeida.

Great mono streetie, Phil. The guy looks bored waiting for customers. Pity nowadays, Sunday isn't the Sunday I remember when I was a boy when all the shops were closed and our parents used to take us out in Sunday clothes and stroll around the promenade.
