I took his candid picture on Monday at our practical night.

I decided on a tight crop to attempt a different style.

Shot with available light in the room.

I like it !! a few years ago I would not have appreciated a "chopped off head "!! but my photographic experience has matured and this really brings the focus on the important features - the eyes. nose and mouth .A great candid of the focused eyes and the clean shaven face . @judithg I judged a competition in Chesterfield on Thursday and the winning pic was a beautiful letterbox minimalistic snow scene. Not that I was biased to a letterbox. It was actually the best shot....honest 😀
