Fun capture - they look like real characters! Great timing and angle, it's so tricky to capture singers in the fleeting moments their mouths aren't hidden by the mic.
The range of tones is fab in mono. I wondered about colour but, judging by the flautist's attire, I'm guessing the variety and vibrancy would be concentrated on the rt. hand side of the image and make the composition a bit unbalanced?

Fantastic street shot, phil, and even better in b&w. Fav. I made a slip on Facebook when I said I liked the lady's leggings and then I was told the person was a he not a she.

@allie912 thanks allison, the tent they were playing in was red and the gut playing the flute had rainbow tights on , so it was very colourful

@sangwann i noticed your FB slip dione, i don't think anyone minded !

@dulciknit you are spot in with your analysis Alison, the guy had rainbow tights on ! besides I always like a good mono
