Irene Revisited by phil_howcroft

Irene Revisited

Back in July 2014, I embarked on the prequel to my 100 strangers series i.e. 50 mono portraits with my 50 mm lens.

As part of my 50 mono portraits series I photographed Irene from our camera club with my Canon 450D 50mm.

So I thought I's photograph Irene with my new Sony Alpha 6000 (ILCE-6000) and see how it compares.

Obviously all is not equal and my Sony has the 16-50mm OSS kit lens on it.

The location is the same and Irene looks pretty much the same and as I recall, the night and weather was fairly similar too

Anyway here is the lovely Irene with her friendly smile and pose.

Irene back in 2014 is here .....

She is exactly the same after three years. The smile is definitely a repetition of that she showed you then. I love people who are always ready to smile and laugh. Fav. for me.

Good portrait with the kit lens. Interesting when you 're-do' portraits, Phil.

Lovely - Irene looks to be very kind and I think she probably enjoys a bit of a giggle too.
