Robin Hood and Little John , Arnold

I did a talk last week to the Arnold U3A on street photography.

One of the U3A members also attends Arnold & District Camera Club and asked me if I would do a talk for them.

The talk went down really well and I showed lots of my street photos and street people / strangers.

What I did notice when I went through my back catalogue was that I didn't have many "record" shots of the town where I live,

So with my whippet in one hand and camera in the other hand I decided to do a few local scenes while walking Ruby.

This is the Robin Hood and Little John a pub in Arnold. Another pub I haven;t been in for probably 20+ years !!! It used to be a Home Ales pub, Home Ales being an Arnold brewery that closed in 1996. The pub is now owned by the Lincoln Green Brewing Company , a micro brewery from Hucknall , Nottingham

This shot is the side of the pub and was shot with a 28mm wide angle lens on my Sony A6000

Beautiful mono shot, Phil. I am inclined to think that close by there is another pub called 'Sheriff of Nottingham'.
