I'm seem to be photographing flowers at the moment , maybe because the gardens are blooming , maybe because we've spent most of the weekend gardening. Not that I'm complaining as I love my garden.
Anyway, this is Aquilegia. also known as granny's bonnet, shot with a vintage lens, my Helios 44M-4 58mm f/2 lens
I've been testing the sharpness of the lens and also trying it out as a macro lens. At 58mm and close up focusing , you can get some really cool macro style shots, as proven my the said Aquilegia.
It is a good time of year for photographing flowers, and for being in the garden, so no problem there. This is an unusual specimen that you have showcased, I don't think I know it.
