This is one of the many food stall holders at Nottingham's Goose Fair
A traditional stall selling burgers, hotdogs , sausages, drinks etc.
The stall holders are from Manchester, so they have travelled quite some distance to be at the fair.
I asked this young her name, and was about to put it into my phone when I bumped into a photographer who I see at many events, so I introduced myself to her had a chat. By the time I'd finished the chat I'd forgot this food vendors name.
I think it was Gemma, but I cannot be sure. Her stall was clean, shiny and as you can see by the apron and hair up, Gemma was aware of food hygiene and preparation standards.
The light was bright inside the stall and there was quite a bit of steam and heat wafting around to cause potential issue for the photography, but the Sony A6000 and nifty fifty lens did a good job.
Superb portrait. Once again, you have captured so much more than her face, but something of the life about her too. Well done, Phil, even if you can't remember her name LOL
I like her pose and the way her eyes look at the camera. Great portrait and should have been put on the 100 Strangers with the others. Fav. Did you buy anything to eat from her? I would have, even if I wasn't hungry.
@casablanca getting distracted sort of put me off my stride :) pleased you like this
