Contre Jour Park Life by phil_howcroft

Contre Jour Park Life

A lady on her mobile phone in Nottingham Arboretum Park on a cold January afternoon.

The contre jour light creating some beautiful rim lighting.

I asked the lady if I could take the photo. I told her she would be mostly in silhouette.

I love the long shadows too.

Shot crouching down, with my Sony A6000, 50mm f1.8 in one hand and a whippet on a lead in the other hand.

All the people
So many people
And they all go hand in hand
Hand in hand through their Parklife
Know what I mean?

I like the idea of contre jour! camera pointing towards the light.

There! Fav! I found this through going into tags blind, or the tag challenge. I probably won’t do it anyway. But when I saw this I was out raged you have but one comment. I love every aspect and your composition decisions.
