Two Little Birds (Helios 44-2 58mm f2 vintage lens
These two little birds arrived in our house today, they were in a parcel left in our porch. The delivery driver didn't knock or ring the bell.
They hopped onto our fireplace and made themselves at home.
They are quite tame and friendly to humans, so I had not trouble moving them onto our dining table to photograph them.
I had a Helios 44-2 58mm f2 vintage lens attached to my Sony A6000.
This is shot at f2 and the lovely bokeh bubbles are from LED lights that sit inside a vintage candle lantern.
The Helios lens is renowned for it's wonderful bokeh. Probably one of my favourite lenses. I am sure you agree the bokeh is fabulous as indeed are the two little birds.
They came in a pair. It's a pity we didn't have three as then I would be able to sing "three little birds " from Bob Marley.... OK since you asked...

Thanks, Phil, for explaining the secret of your bokeh. I often wonder and folk do not usually say. Wish I had that confidence that 'every little thing gonna be all right'!

@busylady thanks Judith , we had some Christmas Reindeer's on the fire place and when we took the decorations down we thought the shelf looked empty. So we replaced them with the blackbirds
