My Garden September 2019

Another shot of my garden as we go into year four. As I alluded to in last months ‘my garden’ photograph, Carole has long said that the angle I was taking the photos from was perhaps not the most flattering and I said I would look at other angles.

So, for this month, I’ve taken the photograph from a completely different angle to try and highlight the big border that I have at the back of the lawn. It is about 6 to 7 feet in depth and full of plants that I believe give me the classic English Cottage Garden that I have long wanted.

I like the horizontal line of the veranda amongst all these garden plants!

@maggiemae That’s my back fence; other side of that is a field that the farmer rents out for horse owners. (Wish I did have a veranda)

It’s an optical illusion. I too thought it was the back of the house with lights on! Lovely capture of your garden landscape.
