At the end of our walk yesterday, we dropped into the area where the squirrels are all but tame, as many many folk feed them. They will take feed from your hand, but skuttle off to eat it alone to prevent other squirrels from stealing it.
I watched this chap take a peanut from a young lad and run up the tree. He appeared to be quite content to let me get close to take his photograph as he dined
