A break from cufflink photographs today .......................
Very cold and wintery here in the Shire today, frequent blizzards which are driving the birds to take shelter with them only coming out mob handed inbetween the storms. They seem to be incredibly polite, taking it turns to eat at the feeder; I saw this chap waiting in the Magnolia Tree for the Blue Tits to have their fill on the sunflower hearts.
There was an article on one of the Lincolnshire News Feeds that I'm subscribed to, that the Goldfinch in Lincolnshire is quite prevalent with flocks (how many in a flock it didn't say) of them being seen at the moment
I've also had to remove the bird bath from the vicinity of the feeder this morning, having watched one of the squirrels take a running jump onto the bird bath and use it as a stepping stone to the feeder, landing on the (so called) squirrel proof dome on the feeder's pole. Ingenius creatures!!
That's nearly as good as cufflinks (ha ha). Seriously it's a beautiful shot Phil. We get goldfinches at certain times of year but there are none at the moment.
@paul10 Squirrel trap has arrived; I'm being lent a gun ........... his time is nearly up :-)
