Another really foul day here in the Shire; very cold and very wet.
Have had a flock (if seven constitutes a flock) of Goldfinches around the feeder this morning (as well as the squirrel even more perplexed as I've taken off a branch from the Magnolia). A few Great and Blue Tits aswell, the but the Goldfinches are out in force.
Camera speed perhaps not quite fast enough on this, but the light didn't help, but here are a few of them at the feeder, with two getting quite shirty with each other. (and yes, that fence really needs painting)
Possibly back to cufflinks next week (you've been warned)
What a great flutter of birds -- lovely to feed and watch !! At the moment the smaller birds seem to have abandoned me on except a few faithful's -- someone in the close neighbourhood may have better assortment of seeds they prefer !!!!
Love when they get to fussing with each other - some seem quite serious about it - others just bossy. fun to watch either way. Looks like you've had some entertainment.
