Belton Bluebells by phil_sandford

Belton Bluebells

Spent a lovely afternoon wandering around the grounds of Belton House with Carole today; The grounds are spectacular now with a carpet of bluebells (and whitebells and mauvebells), what they must have been like when the daffodils were in bloom one can only imagine.

I don't know if it is a very good year for the bluebell, or whether I am noticing them more as I am out doing 365project, but I don't recall ever seeing so many.

LIke Shepardmanswife from a day or so ago, I too was prone when I took this.

They are very pretty. Maybe you are just the lucky one to be finding them.

Fine shot. It's not spring without bluebells. I think you are right, they are much more common this year.

That's a beautiful capture. I think you're right about what you said about it being a good year for bluebells (comment on my bluebell post).
