Like many people on the 365Project in the UK, I have been seeking high and low for a poppy field. There are none back home in Lincolnshire, but this evening I found a field in darkest Wiltshire, that has some poppies.
There weren't many and what there was were located quite a way away from each other.
For the sake of my 365Project, with no care for my well being, I have wearing just training shoes without socks and a pair of shorts, walked deep into a cornfield to capture a number of photographs of poppies.
After uploading this I need to head, post-haste, back to my week day accommodation and get some antihistamines in me.
It was worth the effort mate. Lovely shot. We were in Sleaford this weekend and saw what I assume was a poppy filled, there were a couple of actual poppies at least. Maybe if we'd have ventured that way a week or two earlier were might have seen a field in boom within the lovely flowers. Oh well, there's always next year 😊😊
