As Carole has already said, we took a trip into Norfolk today and visited Norfolk Lavender. We managed to avoid many of the thunderstorms that were occuring across the UK this weekend.
Unfortunately, they harvested most of the 100 acres of lavender last week, so we only had the one field (that was out of bounds - but it did'nt stop us taking a peek) and the impressive display of English Lavender next to the gift shop.
As you'd expect, there was a buzz of activity with bees and butterflies .......
