Up before Carole this morning, so thought I'd get my Dahlia photography out of the way; it's actually sunny here in Lincs this morning, so the early light is really rather lovely on the flowers. Hopefully it'll stay bright so the grass can dry and I can get a chance to mow it before the deluge returns tomorrow.
This is one of the Dahlias I bought to replace last years that I didn't lift; all I know is that I grabbed two of each from the local garden centre, according to the height they'd grow. When I planted them out into pots and put them in the greenhouse, I forgot to take any note of what was what, so when they flower, I'm suprised as I'd forgotten what I've bought.
