Continuing on from @photobird project, taking it into year two, another shot of my back garden, one month on from the last one.
Walked into the kitchen and Carole said “have you taken a photograph today yet?” My response was I hadn’t and then I thought, “Oh, it’s my garden picture today; so though it’s a bit dark as it was taken late in the day due to work impacting my 365project (how dare it) with the full frame camera, it’s happily dealt with the low light; again, this is taken from the same location as last month, almost behind the garage, and again with a 20-35mm wide angle lens.
Still quite a bit of colour, though admittedly most of it is leaves on the lawn. There’s still Dahlia in bloom, with new buds appearing every day; it’ll be a shame when the first frost comes as that will be end of a pretty good year for them.
Finally, I have been incredibly tardy in commenting on photographs from all of you that I follow, and especially tardy in thanking you for all your views, comments and favs on my efforts; I will fill your inboxes up with notifications over the coming weekend.
All of my garden photographs are now tagged philsgarden and if you wish to see it change through the months (obviously only if you feel that way inclined and have nothing better to do) click here
What a fascinating monthly look at your yard. Wish our back yard was this beautiful. I looked at each month's photo. Interesting changes with the seasons. Unfortunately, we don't have "seasons" here, so our yard looks about the same year round.(Actually, we DO have seasons -- earthquake, fire, flood, and drought! Haha!))
Lovely garden. Look at all those dahlias. So this is where all the magic happens. Looks like some hydrangeas too perhaps. Also looks like maybe work has interfered with the leaf raking just a little too. But not too much. I expect we'll see a picture from Carole soon of you playing in them. It's a great idea taking a photo record of you garden like that. I'm enjoying to see it.
